Hey Guys,
I never usually write here, but I've been having a blast these past couple days in NY, so I just gotta write about it.
I FINALLY got to meet up with the guys at Com.X face to face. Usually everything is done through e-mail, so I've literally only known everyone through text. I had the chance to meet the other creators at Com.X as well as pick up some free swag, namely our free Promo book which I believe is completely gone.
AND, I FINALLY (lack of a better word) Got to meet up with Brian Cowden (writer of Passions Requiem, the book I'm currently working on) and Film Composer Rolfe Kent (Dexter, Sideways, Mean Girls) Got to chill with these awesome guys and just talk about the work we've done so far, and possible directions we can take in the future. I'm a huge Dexter nerd, so I was picking at Rolfe's brain as to how he came up with the Whimsical yet dark opening song.
I got to meet up with some amazing artists, who've inspired me to push myself and "Level up"
Today is the last day of NYCC so I'm going to take in one last taste, and then check out Time Square. I heart NY.
